An Etek will not require you to tune the LPR especially right out of the box. Pull that thing out set the HPR over a chrono to your field FPS limit and go. Dont touch the Dwell in the board settings either. Just another thing that can be messed up.
FYI i know an eclipse tech and the lpr on an Ego and Etek does next to nothing for pressure. Basically if you are an effciency freak this is what you fiddle with.

Hit the nail right on the head. Don't worry about the LPR too much. I find that markers like the G6R from Bob Long would require more tinkering with the LPR setting as well as the HPR. But the Etek is a pretty solid, user friendly marker. Unless you know for sure how you want to fine tune the marker for yourself, adjusting the HPR is all you're going to need to do for operating pressure and velocity.

I know your pain. I'm lucky enough to have a field owner who not only knew Bob Long way back when, but has every Timmy you can think of! So I have resources available

We dont have locally but where we go for our tournaments always the owner knows Bob and even has him coming up for an event. Should be interesting
