My friend just used his graduation money and got a BT4 banshee. Its really cool looking, and the clip is an expansion chamber. Which means you'll get more shots for your co2. A good price is 280. The stock has a small storage chamber in it, and the sight rail is adjustable. Though only get if you can get/have a remote line, as with the stock there a co2 tank will be hefty.

I wouldnt say one brand is better then the other, they are in some ways related from what i understand. Tippman also underwent some changes this winter and brought out a midrange electronic marker.
Re: Tippman vs Battle Tested
Okay, brief history: Tippman Paintball was started by Dennis Tippman and his Nephew Ben Tippman. Well after a few years, there was a fallout between the two of them and they split ways. Ben created his own company and called it "Ben Tippman", but after a law suit, the name was changed to Battle Tested and bought by Empire.
This is relevant because they are almost identical in both operation and performance. My personal preference would be to go with BT, because they have a variety of different markers to buy that have countless upgrades and additions that make them more versatile and fun for scenario or woods. TM-15...Pretty BA if you ask me!

I'd say go tippmann if you don't want any electronics. That cyclone feed option is great in that application. You can just run on all air with a Response and cyclone combo.
Battle tested, I would say is a more electronic version of Tippmann. You can't throw a cyclone feed on it, but you can get a rip-clip or any other electronic hopper.
It really depends on what you really want. Tippmanns new crossover is like a speedball gun I think? I never seen one in person so I can't say.

The crossover is brand new. Its going to be aimed at bushballers who want a marker to compete with the speedballers tramping through them bushes.

A Person who prefers to play in the bush, or wooded area. just a preference thing. Them 98's cant keep up with a ego mowing down branches
Re: Tippman vs Battle Tested
Basicly a woodsballer then? haha I know what you mean though, I was one of the poor Rental fleets getting destroyed by minis, egos, eteks, you name it... Ref did a really poor job balancing teams haha.

Go Tippmann
I feel that Tippmann is better... I really like the 98 Custom and it's durability. They're even coming out with a high quality speedball gun, the Tippman Crossover. Looks great!

not high quality, mid range at best. we will see how it compares to the etek and etha that are reigning supreme. Anyone else see the etha's body kits coming out?
