I'll be the first to say it. Mid insert players have to be the most ballsy risk takers out there. See an opportunity to fill or bump and take it. Frontmen take fire all day giving you the opportunity to move.
Move quickly and confidently. Don't be afraid to make balls to the wall moves especially if they could benifit your team drastically. Get your slides down and improve your snap shooting technique. You are going to be the gun fighter on the team so you should be fast and accurate. Know what angles the paint is hitting the bunker and the amount so you know how many are coming for you.
Protect your front players as well, you will see someone running for your snake player before they do. Have a call for an incoming player. Know your freaking kill counts for both! if you lose a front dorito or front snake, fill!
Practice some 2v1 so you get the feeling of being trapped.
Play tight, listen to everything around you, calculate your moves, be gutsy,
